The contest from Equal Vision Records for the new release Art Damage from Fear Before the March of Flames has drawn to a close. There were ten entries and Greg Sieme from Equal Vision has picked a winner. The entries are below, but you won't have to look any further than frequent poster Bricklayer for the winner of this showdown. Thanks for entering and be sure to check out this album if you haven't already. It rocks really hard.

5. Slayer. Duh. Anyone who doesn't list them is a liar or trying to be too cool for school.
4. Hatebreed. First album is a crossover classic. Anything since then, especially the Hot Topic wristbands, slightly diminishes and soils the brand. But, nothing, I mean nothing, can diminish the majesty of the first record.
3. Converge. The reigning kings. The guys all want to be them, and the girls all want to bed them.
2. Black Flag. Simply put, nobody, but nobody could, can, or ever will throw it down like the Flag, except of course...
1. The guy in the gorilla suit in the Beastie Boys' "No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn" video. He remains the hardest ever!
