The contest from Equal Vision Records for the new release Art Damage from Fear Before the March of Flames has drawn to a close. There were ten entries and Greg Sieme from Equal Vision has picked a winner. 5. Slayer. Duh. Anyone who doesn't list them is a liar or trying to be too cool for school.
4. Hatebreed. First album is a crossover classic. Anything since then, especially the Hot Topic wristbands, slightly diminishes and soils the brand. But, nothing, I mean nothing, can diminish the majesty of the first record.
3. Converge. The reigning kings. The guys all want to be them, and the girls all want to bed them.
