AP - Johnny Ramone, whose birth name was John Cummings, died in his sleep Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2004, at his Los Angeles home surrounded by friends and family, his publicist said. He was 55.

thanks S, very sad news but has been coming for a while I guess. This band has been cursed over the last few years - no one left but drummers.
