Motorhead's front man Lemmy has been forced to pull out of the forthcoming US tour due to an injury sustained last month while touring Europe. Lemmy went against his doctor's recommendations of abstaining from work at the time of the injury and completed the remaining dates on the band's summer festival tour. The injury then got worse and has now prevented Lemmy from continuing with the forthcoming US tour which was scheduled for Sep and Oct. The band will return to the US in March 2005.
This unfortunate metal touring news comes via CMU.
