I don't know what I'm going to do with myself next year. It has become an annual tradition to salivate with anticipation over what goodies will be put into the latest Lord of the Rings DVD. This year's entry appears to top them all with 50 minutes of extra footage, including a lot of stuff that will answer some questions left from the finale of the trilogy. If you want to be surprised, then don't go to TheOneRing.net for a list of added scenes.

I haven't purchased any of the LOTR DVDs yet.. I'm waiting for uber-multi-disc-extended-special-edition set. :-)

Man, we've been waiting for this one too - my guess is that the improvment on this one will be even more than the first two. As long as it was in the theater, it felt choppy and incomplete.
The additions sound great.
