JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the new project from SAVATAGE's Jon Oliva, have posted some sound clips from their debut at Oliva's official website www.jonoliva.net. A posting at the site reads: "We are happy to be able to offer you 4 new soundclips from the final mastering of the debut album 'Tage Mahal. You find them in the Multimedia section, enjoy!! Furthermore, there will be a listening party for the entire album in the framework of the pre-party of ProgPower V in Atlanta on Thursday, Sept. 16th 2004 at the Vinyl Club. Please find all the details at the official site of the event www.progpowerusa.com ." 'Tage Mahal is due out October 25 in Europe and October 26 in the US. SPV Records will handle distribution worldwide.
Not known for being associated with rubbish, anything released by Jon is much anticipated by fans of power metal/prog. News comes via Hard News.
