A beer has been brewed and named after Madonna to commemorate the singer's visit to Manchester on her Re-invention tour. Called Material Girl Ale, the bottles feature a similar design to the cover of Madonna's 'Immaculate Collection' album. If you're interested, the fruity ale brewed by JW Lees has a 7.5% alcohol content. ...
This bit of Material news comes via CMU. I must admit no matter how much Madonna tries to be English, I rather doubt she is a real ale drinker.
