You know...it was only one night, one game. And nobody knows if the Red Sox or the Yankees will win the American League East.
But, hey, it sure was a fun evening of baseball.

i don't really hate the yankees (and i'm a sox fan!)...but it makes me smile to think of the shadow crossing steinbrenner's face during this one.
This does nothing to us. The Evil Empire will live on forever. You cannot stop us. I pity you all.
It does two things: it counts in the loss column at a time when the Sox are closing in, and, no one loses 22-0 without it having an impact on morale. No one.
