The color of black

Somehow this set of images reminds me of the first erotic photo's about 100 years ago. I think it's mainly because of the classic pose of the models. Also some of the images have a blurry effect that gives them the old camera touch.

Why are a lot of photographers using Black & white photography? These images show that using only B&W gives the artist the ability to concentrate on shape in relation with light and shadow. Color can sometimes disturb the effect of light on the model. And the puritans think that photography is all about light, photography is light. In these images you can see clearly how the artist play with this light concept.
