Torquere Press' Melt Writing Contest

Dog days. Summer heat. Sultry nights where ice cubes and ceiling fans are your best friend. That's the essence of Melt, the newest writing contest from Torquere Press. However you want to interpret it, we want it. Show us how you beat the heat.

Prizes include a free subscription to Turn of the Screw, Torquere Press' new serial fiction subscription service and free ebooks from Torquere Press.

Stories must be submitted as inline text in the body of an email. No attachments will be opened. All stories must have gay or lesbian content and must be less than 1000 words; keep it short. Stories over the word limit will be penalized and or thrown out. Send all contest entries to writingcontest@torquerepress.com with the words Melt Writing Contest in the subject line.

Deadline for entry is August 25. Winners will be notified by email, and winners will be announced on the site September 1, 2004.

Come on. Make us Melt.
