Justin Timberlake has said his second album might have a southern rock sound to it a la Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers. Justin, who was born in the Southern state of Memphis, has told GQ magazine: "It [the next album] maybe a little Southern rock, you know? Try that on for size."Asked if another record with his former band Nsync was likely he replied: "I don't know, I don't know. You're never contractually obligated to do anything. I think A Tribe Called Quest have been contractually obligated to do another album for like 10 years." As previously reported, rumour has it the rest of Nsync are mighty pissed off that Justin has opted to work on a second solo album rather than another long player with the boy band.
This bit of bizarre Timberlake news comes via CMU.
