Hard Core and Horror

Hard rock and horror films seem a logical fit:

Los Angeles, CA based AEI's (Atchity Entertainment International) DVD products will now be exclusively distributed by Victory Records in North America. AEI Chairman Dr. Kenneth Atchity said, "We're thrilled to open this new vista of business for AEI. Through AEI Home Entertainment, we're looking forward to a long and prosperous future of releasing a diversity of excellent titles through Victory."

Michael Kuciak, VP of AEI Home Entertainment adds, "As a production company, we're always running across film properties- foreign films, festival winners, video libraries, old releases our clients had been involved with, etc. Until now, we'd always only looked at them with an eye on developing a sequel or remake. It is our intention to use the AEI/Victory deal as an avenue to bring titles of every genre to the world. Our first batch of titles will give us the chance to put a spotlight on one of the masters of drive-in exploitation horror, Ted
    Mikels."

The initial fall DVD releases will be released on October 21, 2004 and include the following feature length movies, "Mark of the Astro Zombies", "Dimension In Fear", "Female Slaves Revenge", "The Cauldron: Baptism of Blood" and "Directing Movies- Action To Wrap."

Ie., "we keep running across a bunch of weird crap that someone may want to see and even pay for, so what the hell?"

I am certain the Duker is familiar with one or more of these titles, and the oeuvre of Mr Mikels.

I am a horror actress and was fortunate enough to film my own scenes with my crew in Alabama for Mark of the Astro-Zombies for Ted V. Mikels and it was great fun to do. The Astro-Zombies are scary!
Its about time Ted V. Mikels gets the acclaim he deserves
