(Fortune & Glory)

I said the following about thier debut single: Yeah its played well, but its boring shit that has been done many times before. Heavy and loud, but lacking substance, this CD goes no where. There is potential here, but nothing is being done with it. Alas, not much has changed on their full length, there is just more of it. Female fronted bands are not uncommon these days and quite a few are rather good. While this is not as bad, as say, My Ruin, it certainly does not rank up there with Nightwish, Die So Fluid or Theatre of Tragedy. Its just dull death metal with female vocals, there is not just nothing here to sink your teeth into. I mean even the bloody album name is dull.

2/5

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.
