Kinks men still recovering

CMU reports on Kinks men's progress toward full health.

Founding Kinks member Dave Davies will require at least another month in hospital to recover from a stroke he suffered at the end of Jun midway through promoting his new solo album 'Bug'. A spokesman for Davies told reporters yesterday: "He is paralysed on the right-hand side of his body, but he retains some feeling and he can still hold a guitar plectrum. These small things mean a hell of a lot. They're small but very important. Dave is taking his illness with typical good humour, and with a positive demeanour".

Brother Ray Davies is himself still recovering from that gunshot wound he suffered when chasing two muggers back in Jan. Despite their past volatile relationship the two brothers were reportedly talking about staging a reunion event to coincide with the 40th anniversary of their first number one single - 'You Really Got Me'.

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.
