The Angus is gone :-( I'm one of those weird people who hates condiments. I order my burgers plain and dry with just a slice of cheese. I loved the Angus and ordered one almost weekly. And today my hubby said it is gone. That's one customer BK has lost. Cause now I can't have it my way. (A Whopper plain and dry with cheese is just not the same.) But maybe they don't need me...

I rarely eat at fast food places, because i don't like them (on multiple levels). However, I was sort of forced to go with coworkers the other day, so thought I'd try the Angus burger. Since it was smothered in bbq sauce of some sort, it took several bites before I realized it had a funny aftertaste; sort of how I would imagine Mighty Dog dog food to be flavored (based on smelling it while serving it to my old dog). I'm not sure how else to describe it but the after taste was very disappointing. Just to be sure, I scraped off the sauce, lettuce, tomato, etc, and just had the meat by itself, w/o a bun. I then sense the same undesirable after taste but amplified. Gross. The best thing about this burger was the bun, which gets points for at least being more than the typical spongy crappy bun.
