Four more years? Blame Dave Matthews.
Now that four more years is all but in the bag for Bush, it's time to do what all right-minded citizens of the world are, or should be, doing this morning. Laying blame. I guess I could blame the neo-con...

Bush Wins, Barely - Edwards 2008?
Okay, so Bush wins. What should have been a cakewalk — a sitting president mid-war — was very close because no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq, because the insurgency has been more potent than we had hoped,...

To Concede or not to Concede
Last night I went to bed around 2:30 central, confident that George Bush had won reelection. I was off by 14 - I missed both Wisconsin and Hawaii (my underdog), but over all, this election went pretty much how the...

INFINITE NONSENSE
A majority of Americans stuck its head up its ass yesterday and, by 58,154,413 to 54,616,818 votes (with 99 percent of all votes in), proved daredevil columnist Jimmy Breslin wrong, to say nothing of daredevil pollster John Zogby. Unless things...

How does CNN call Wisconsin and Nevada when they're not comfortable calling Ohio?

Exit Polling a Sham?
I certainly don't know what is going to happen in Ohio in the coming days, but I do feel something important happened last night that lets us in on the mood of this country. Exit polls apparently were inaccurate across...

Roll on 2008! Clinton-Obama vs Cheney-Schwarzenegger
Well, what the hell happened? I went to bed in the good old UK safe in the knowledge that, thanks to collective punditry the vote was in the bag for Kerry. True, I wouldn't have believed it had you told...

Challengers violate Voting Rights Act
Nor are their allegations of massive voter fraud by minority voters legitimate.

Pop Culture Protests
Where once political protesting through music was relegated to angry punk rockers or pudgy folk artists, everyone is getting into the game now. Green Day, Eminem, A Perfect Circle, Bruce Springsteen. Thanks to George W. Bush, who is bringing back 80s style anti-Reagan level hysteria.

thanks Jason! It's a good way to follow along in chronological order, and with it all in one place you can spot trends and relationships between stories and themes you might not have otherwise noticed
Eric- I'll second the note of thanks, with a special appreciation for a pic of Badnarik that is standard fare rather than one of him blowing his nose or the like. The Nader image is his own, so nobody could get too riled about it, but it looks like a Gary Numan album cover to me.
we strive to be ecumenical!
Great set of info re the US election. The Australian elections are on soon too - I still think it's more a plague on both their houses type of thing in both countries!
thanks gg2, I am certain Australians are doing a much better job of following our elections than we are of yours
Eric:
I just added a link to this page onto my site, like you requested. EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS!
Thanks, and that would be great. Certainly everyone who has written posts linked from this master post would benefit greatly from as much traffic going to it as possible.
Who are we to believe on the conditions in Iraq? A man who is risking his life every minute of the day who lives there (Allawi) and is the Prime Minister, or a man running for president that would benefit by worsening conditions(JFK)?
everyone has an angle, including Allawi, but that is not an unresonable question
Have any of you guys seen the new Bushisms DVD? I just bought it from www.bushism.net. It looks pretty funny. Al Franken and Brian Unger are it. Any comments?
thanks Helmut, I'll add it to the Amazon list above
I just linked to this page again in another post to my site. EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS!
thanks RJ, I agree
and by everyone, we mean everyone who owns a computer
it is most definately a good source, thanks for the compilation Eric!
This is, in fact, a wonderful source for issues, personalities and the important things we need to consider at this time. It has been wonderfully put together and should serve as a model for the future.
Claire
thanks Claire, much appreciated!
You suck

Eric, this compilation is a great resource site - thanks!
