Why the hell hasn't anybody told that tool Ryan Seacrest to stop ripping off Rome? I couldn't believe that shit the first time I heard it. "Seacrest out"? What ever happened to his sidekick from the first season anyway?

TD, excellent point about Idol, you are correct that his whole schtick was set up around access to the Idols.

It seemed to me like he was sponging entirely too much off the AI success by having on past Idols, using Idols as show filler, etc, and when AI was no longer on air, he lost that rather significant base of viewers.

I would say he set himself up with a formula that was doomed from the start the minute that AI went off air.

And the whole "...out" thing he ripped off from Jim Rome. Rome has been doing that to end his radio shows for years. If Rome borrowed that from somebody else, then I'm not aware but Rome is the first place I heard that.
