Pete Doherty was back on stage with Libertines drummer Gary Powell on Friday night, though don't get too excited, Doherty's not back in the band. The duo were appearing at the launch of a new exhibition of Libertine photos being displayed at the Proud Gallery in Camden. The exhibition, called 'Libertines: Boys In The Band', features photos taken by NME photographer Roger Sargent and chronicles the dramatic events the band have been through over the last three years. Doherty launched the exhibition by singing a few of the bands songs - something he won't be doing at the band's upcoming live and festival dates, him still being in exile from the band until he overcomes his drug addition. That said Doherty and Powell seemed on good terms at the launch. More details

Ian Brown has played a full set of Stone Roses tracks for the first time since the band's acrimonious split back in 1996. According to the NME, Brown - renowned for his reluctance to perform Roses tracks at his gigs - hired a Stone Roses tribute band for his performance at the Claremont Landscape Garden National Trust park this weekend and delivered a set full of Stones Roses classics, including a few rarity songs like 'Mersey Paradise' and 'Where Angels Play'. Brown's solo tracks were saved for the encore.
