I checked out these streams of a new band called Living Things, they are all brothers like Chevelle and they just finished opening up for Velvet Revolver. These are kids and they are about to release their debut album from Geffen records on August 24th. They are straight ahead rock with a twinge of political angst which makes me cringe a bit, but whatever. They've played some of those Music for America concerts too. This is interesting to say the least.

After getting to their website, I found these interview questions more interesting than a typical bio. It will be interesting to see where their careers head after being fortunate enough to open for Velvet Revolver and get so much major support.

EPIMAG: While growing up in ST. LOUIS what were some of your favorite Local bands?
LILLIAN: ST.Louis doesn't have a rich musical community...your taught to pray; play sports, and drink beer. So growing up the best local talent was the preacher man who spoke in tongues like an angel with a broken voice...

EPIMAG: How would you describe LIVING THINGS musical attitude?
LILLIAN: Anxious and ill at ease

EPIMAG: In case people don't know you guys are all brothers, lets Say that one of you decided to leave the band would you find a replacement or break up the whole band?
LILLIAN: Living things is Lillian, eve and bosh without the triangle it's a broken heart.

EPIMAG: First punk show?
LILLIAN: Fugazi, with jawbox
