Teedo has a Luvatomic just for you, rather, those that aggressively seek the ultimate in alternative-rock, with stress on the word alternative. This band totally fits the mold.

When thinking about how to describe this vital musical ensemble, my initial thought is-Tom Verlaine meets Lou Reed with Los Lobos on background instruments, sound interesting enough for you? If not, I suggest you go back to listening to your Jessica Simpson albums, sorry.

This is indisputably a fantastic album! Two listens and these discriminating ears were hooked by the funky and hooky guitar lines coupled with the, let me say, interesting vocal style of the main man Teedo. This multi-talented musical stud is supported by two main members, Saeko Terano (keys, background vocals) and Oweinama Biu (bass, background vocals, percussion), including a bevy of other talented musicians. Shin Imamura provides the all-important guitar sound that Teedo's voice demands, his righteous licks are a pleasure cruise into the sunset of rock nirvana, truly a masterful performance of innovative alternative rock musicianship.

So not only is this CD a gem and a real find for anyone sick of the overproduced fanfare crap ruling the airwaves, the people that man their stations so adequately on this album are a real discovery. I never ever turn on my radio, I religiously pop a CD in my stereo to and from my place of employment daily, that way I don't have to be inundated with companies selling their goods nor exposed to the constant barrage of pop superstars that are forced into our consciousness. This is a horse of a different color. Teedo is an original and a pure type of music. Rockin' alternative takes on the human condition and various other thought provoking tracks with titles like "Pharmaculture" and "Ghetto Boss," which doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, have no hidden meanings or agendas, just straight up rock music with the words to tell the story as the artist sees it. It is a little bit of something we all need these days, less bullshit, overt lies, and more of the truth.

This is damned good music straight from the heart, now that is my kind of entertainment. My only observation of an area that needs some work is with the mix down of the master tapes. The drums need to come out to the front of their sound more, they are buried in all the other instruments, leaving that part of their music less crisp and clear like every other aspect that you hear (like the guitar) that sounds so great. I would recommend a remaster of this magnificent recording before shipping it off to a label for consideration, if in fact that is what the band has planned.
