Weiland ordered to rehab

From the "how many times do we have to hear this story" department comes word that Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland has been ordered to undergo a six-month drug rehab program. The forced rehab comes as a result of an October 2003 DUI incident.

I hate this. Weiland is one of the better talents to emerge from the grunge era, and he keeps messing up his life. You've got the goods to make an impact, dude, and you've been given second, third, fourth, fifth chances. Why not just acknowledge that the problem is far beyond your ability to control it and start getting healthy, OK? Because some of us are not looking forward to the VH1 coverage of your funeral.

shit. thats a shame. the shame, of course, is that he still requires such treatment. Hopefully he's ready for it this time.
The man is indeed a remarkably talented fella. Tiny Music...From The Vatican Gift-Shop is one of the best records of the 90's.
Thanks for the coverage, man, and i agree wholeheartedly with the setiments.

I agree, Tiny Music is a great album. STP never got proper credit for their musical depth. The DeLeo brothers are phenomenal songwriters.
