Tora! Tora! Torrance! - A Cynics Nightmare

This record is lie. It is a lie in the name of rock 'n' roll.

Tora! Tora! Torrance! was a rock 'n' roll band with punk rock intensity, loud guitars, solos, and snotty/bratty vocals. To be blunt, they rocked my socks off, but wait, what is this? The third track. Suddenly, after some intensely great rock 'n' roll this weird space rock jam session appears. And it appears until the 8th track where it only partially looses its grip on this, potentially amazing rock 'n' roll band. The 9th (and final track!!) is a total waste. It's like the space jam sessions earlier on the CD, only with less structure, coherence, and purpose then the other tracks. Think of the least interesting jam session on the Mars Volta disc, now make it less interesting and make it last for 8 minutes and 42 seconds.

I'd love this album if it were an EP with all the filler was cut out, but it's not. I'm sorry guys, but you lied and I'm not sure if I can take you back.
