Brand new? Nah, just predictable and reliable

Brand New Morning
Magnum
(SPV)

The Magnum boys have released another platter of Magnum music. This perenial English band produces a decent quality of music, consistently. Catley & Co have produced another rather good batch of nine pomp-tastic tracks on their latest release. Now featuring Thunder-drummer Harry James, the band are still at their rocking best. Very much a case of, if you like Magnum, you will like this. More importantly if you like English hard-rock (esp. NWBHM) you will like this album. Highlights include 'It's time to come together' and 'The Scarecrow'. Good ole Magnum now have an excuse to tour...which is what the punters really want.

Rating: 3.8/5
