SOUL SIRKUS, the band featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TALISMAN), JOURNEY members Neal Schon (guitar) and Deen Castronovo (drums) and bassist Marco Mendoza (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE), have posted the following update at their new official website (www.soulsirkus.com): "The next batch of Soul SirkUS songs are now in the bag & being mixed by ace engineer, John Ellis, in Boston. Also recorded at Jon Cain's studio, the titles 'Another World', 'Friends 2 Lovers', 'New Position', 'My Sanctuary' & a redone version of the Planet Us track, 'Peephole' are the new tracks which we'll have samples posted here in the next 2 weeks. There is also a 'major' interest in the band/album...".

SOUL SIRKUS, the band featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TALISMAN), JOURNEY members Neal Schon (guitar) and Deen Castronovo (drums) and bassist Marco Mendoza (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE), report that their new official website (www.soulsirkus.com) has received over 100,000 hits in only two days from fans all over the world. According to a new press release, the band's forthcoming debut album will be released by early 2005. The album was recorded at Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain's home studio (Wild Horse Studios) in San Francisco,CA in only two days. Cain engineered the project and Schon and Soto sat at the producer's helm. Neal Schon recently commented on the vibe of the band: "The new stuff is cool, melodic and has plenty of edge. We are very much looking forward to getting it out soon and playing live. I definitely feel we have the goods..."
