The Expos Conspiracy

So if the Expos stay in Montreal for next season, would I buy season tickets again? I think so. I love baseball and the Expos are my summer vacation. I don't think I'm going to get a pair again next year despite the perks because I can't get anyone to go with me (attendance to the games is getting beyond anemic due to poor performance). I just hope that next year the Expos won't field a team that is to the team that the Harlem Globetrotters always beat.
On a lighter note, here's the line-up of what we thought would is probably the dream team of Expos players for the last 15 years. Argue if you want, but I'm right and you're wrong. Nah nah.
Starting Rotaion
SP - Pedro Martinez
SP - Dennis Martinez
SP - Randy Johnson

2B - Jose Vidro
3B - Tim Wallach
SS - Orlando Cabrera
OF - Tim Raines/Marquis Grissom

It's getting tougher and tougher to be a season ticket holder for the Montreal Expos. Up until last Saturday, they were playing absolutely awful baseball. It seemed that they had given up. Even Youppi! was phoning it in. Year after year of heartbreak and disappointment is not what this team. It essentially needs to be put out of it's misery.
Last season should have been the last season in Montreal. Two players hit for the cycle during last season (one player hitting for the cycle is a miracle, let alone two). Several amazing comebacks punctuated with a walk-off homerun. The unpredictable and improbable pennant race (considering no-one expect the Expos to break .500). Also, and more importantly, the team would have not had to deal with Vladimir Guerrero departing for greener pastures.
I don't want the Expos to go to Washington or Virginia because the people there that have been attempting to bring the team there for what seems like forever have been picking at the bones of the team ever since the Expos were denied World Series dreams back in 1994. I don't think the team should go to Portland because Oregon is heavily debt-ridden and balanced budgets are unheard of. Mexico is a joke and Puerto Rico can't even fill their 20 000+ seat stadium when the Expos play 22 games there during the season. I think the best place for them to go is Las Vegas. I don't understand why the whole gambling thing is an issue considering that you can gamble in several states and both Montreal and Toronto have incredibly easy access to gambling. It would be the only major sports attraction in the city and Las Vegas is a tourist haven. They could sell out very easily.
