More blues explosions on the way

The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are in the process of completing new album 'Damage' - the follow up to 2002's acclaimed 'Plastic Fang'. The new album includes an incredible list of collaborators including producers Steve Jordan and Alan Moulder plus including Chuck D, DJ Shadow, Martina Topley Bird, David Holmes, Dan The Automator and the late Elliot Smith who had been working with the Blues Explosion just before his death last Oct.Describing the new album front man Jon Spencer explains: "This is the mother of all Blues Explosion records! The living end! We even have some crazy guy playing shark's teeth and sheep testicles! That's right, we got the bite AND the balls!"
