FLORIDA&#039;S LARGEST HORROR CONVENTION COMES TO PLANTATION



It may not be a dark graveyard on a hill, but the Holiday Inn Plantation will become the haunted 
site for ScreamFest 2004 on Nov. 6 - 7.  Produced by Spooky Empire, Inc., South Florida&#039;s premier specialty event producers, the two day event will feature toy,clothing, comic,,jewelry,video, and collectible merchandise dealers from across the country, movie screenings, panel discussions, Q&amp;A&#039;s, 
 and meet-and-greets with a host of Horror&#039;s greatest stars.  

This year&#039;s event will feature Doug Bradley, best known for his roles in the Hellraiser series as Pinhead. Along with Bradley will be fellow actors Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses, Devils Rejects), and David Naughton (American Werewolf in London), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, Devils Rejects ) and Linnea Quigley - Scream queen (Return of the Living Dead), Ricou Browning (Celibrating the 50th Anniversary of The Creature from the Black Lagoon) and the original Jason, Warrington Gillette (Friday the 13th part 2). Also attending will be some of the greatest independent film makers including Loyd Kaufman (Troma Films) and &quot;The Godfather of Gore&quot; Herschell Gordon Lewis. We also have some amazing artists - Basil Gogos, and for his first Florida appearance Gris Grimly!

The weekend will feature a Dealer Room chock full of one-of-a-kind toys, collectibles and artwork, industry panel discussions on all things horror, scheduled meet-and-greets with attending celebrities, exclusive movie and music video screenings, an on-site Haunted House and a special convention club where attendees can mingle, lounge, and watch live bands such as Death Becomes You, The Green Goblyn Project, The Skirts and the Van Orsdels.
