Inflation: CPI Breaks Secular Downtrend

A few days back I posted an original article about inflation. For those concerned about inflation I just viewed an interesting chart over on the Market History website. There is a very informative graph of inflation. If you decide to check it out, click the graph to get the big view.
Here is the quick drift:
Today's CPI report shows the annual rate of change in the CPI at 3.1%. This breaks the down trend which has been in place since rates last peaked in late 1990. The down trend in Core inflation remains intact... By Gibbons Burke
