Is Forrest Gump Running the United States?

Why did DCI George Tenet suddenly resign on June 3rd, only to be followed a day later by James Pavitt, the CIA's Deputy Director of Operations (DDO)?

The real reasons, contrary to the saturation spin being put out by major news outlets, have nothing to do with Tenet's role as taking the fall for alleged 9/11 and Iraqi intelligence "failures" before the upcoming presidential election.

Both resignations, perhaps soon to be followed by resignations from Colin Powell and his deputy Richard Armitage, are about the imminent and extremely messy demise of George W. Bush and his Neocon administration in a coup d'etat being executed by the Central Intelligence Agency. The coup, in the planning for at least two years, has apparently become an urgent priority as a number of deepening crises threaten a global meltdown.

Based upon recent developments, it appears that long-standing plans and preparations leading to indictments and impeachment of Bush, Cheney and even some senior cabinet members have been accelerated, possibly with the intent of removing or replacing the entire Bush regime prior to the Republican National Convention this August.

After reading that little bit from From The Wilderness that was served up my way, I do have to say that even as far-fetched as it may seem, there are some intriguing points. I make no apologies that I should like nothing better than to see Dubya "get it" (as in impeachment or censure, etc...) but still, I think this is one that should be filed under "crazy theories".

Still, consdiering all the facts.. we still have to ask ourselves "Where is the Screw Up and why does it continue?" I certainly know that no matter where its coming from, it doesn't instill in me much faith in the American goverment at this point in time. So much finger pointing and very little facts. Scary.

Yeah, I was calling him President Gump for a while, but my mom got offended 'cause she likes Forrest.

The administration couldn't have been helped by Ashcroft's treasonous performance before Congress yesterday. If they did win the election, they'd just be buried in litigation (like the last three second-term Presidents, but worse.)

But I just can't see them getting the votes to get the electoral college again. This administration is broken, and all the President's horses and all the President's men will never put Humpty Dumbass back in office again.

But how could such a mistake in the tallies have occurred?

They probably contracted out the report to Halliburton.
