Spend Memorial Day Weekend with Definitive Jux Records

Here's one more song to add to your holiday weekend: The Perceptionist's Memorial Day, a song which takes a hard look at the current Bush administration and the war in Iraq.

The Perceptionists are on Definitive Jux, a record label I've been paying more and more attention to lately. In addition to Perceptionists, the label also is the home to Aesop Rock, Murs, El-P and Columbus Ohio's very own RJD2.

RJ just released his second full length allbum, Since We Last Spoke, and it's easily one of my favorites this year. He had a CD release concert in town a few weeks ago, and I'd never would have thought that a guy with just four turntables would put on one of the most dramatic shows I've ever seen. The record is definitely worth your hard earned money, I'm telling you. Here's a song from it: Exotic Talk.

Happy holidays, everyone.

I'd love an MP3 of this track ... is it available anywhere or just within the Def Jux player?
