Sometimes, it seems Portland has too many semi-famous folks. (The truly famous relocate to L.A., if they're music biz. Though, after the shine wore off, Gus van Zant is back.) Out here in the Pacific Northwest, S/L has gotten past the 'girl band' label. I don't know if that travels, though. I am also curious to see what happens when they turn 40.
