Madonna pulls out of Israel

CMU reports the following on Madonna's planned Israel gigs.

According to the Sun, Madonna has dropped three planned gigs in Israel after apparently receiving death threats against herself and her two children. The paper reports that Madonna "freaked out" when she heard about the threats, which are being linked to an unnamed Palestinian group. Word is the singer originally planned to defy the threats and perform anyway until another letter from the group named her children.

The paper quotes a source close to Madonna as saying: "The notes were unbelievably scary. Madonna is a strong woman but she freaked out when her kids were mentioned. At first she was prepared to go on stage anyway and hire extra security. But she was not ready to take chances with her kids - they are her whole world."

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.

But she has the kabala to protect her.

Seriously, I don't blame her for taking the threats seriously, especially against her children. Another reason for Sandra S. to dislike the Palestinians.

Tut Tut, Eric. Do your research. Not everything you read on Blog is gospel. Madonna has since stated that the reports on threats are false. She is simply not going because with the killing of Hamas leaders the situation is getting more volatile and she and her management have decided not to take the risk. Especially because she is AMERICAN.

Another bit, a majority of Israelis despair of the Kaballah Jewish sect. They see it as an insult to judaism. So, nope. It would have been a hindrance rather than protection. Sigh! I have to do your work for you yet again:)

By the By:) I do not hate the Palestinians. I hate the Palestinian terrorists. Calm yourself:)
