I think it is important for people to notice that when the media deliberately mislead with false propaganda, which direction they are attempting to guide us.

On the other hand (larboard) postings like this do allow the rest of the world to confirm that yes, the USA is largely inhabited by ignorant pig-fuckers.

When you want to deal with pig-fuckers, go USA. Your number one source for pig-fuckers.

Brought to you by the USA Pig Fuckers Marketing Board - LBJ Branch.

I am going to ask that people not respond to entries like this one in the interest of good blogging. Reposting a news story verbatim is not writing a blog entry. It is a cheap and dishonest way to build up the illusion of being a blogger without doing any actual work. If you click on the culprit's history at Blogcritics, you will see the pattern repeated over and over again. If you care about reading thoughtful, researched blog entries it is important to discourage the degeneration of the genre into theft of other people's work passed off as the blogger's own. (In addition to being prima facie evidence of laziness, these reprints without permission blatantly violate copyright law.) One weakness of the setup at BC is that someone with absolutely nothing to say can prove that point endlessly. But, we don't have to encourage those people. So, I hope you will help end the practice.

This reminds me of the kerfuffle with our man Doyle at the Globe and Mail saying they should have Fox Cable "News" carried on the digital thingies because it was the best comedy channel from the States, apparently it's like Jon Stewart but with spittle flecked old men. And then one of Murdoch's little imps called the G&M a left wing organ of the international conspiracy or whatever.

I think gas-bags and cut and paste artistes should be forced to use the terms "port" and "starboard". Since they don't know one hand from the other, it will guickly render them even more useless and pointless.

RJ, do you regularly read The Mirror?
If not, what made you call it leftist? or did you just nick the "headline" from elsewhere?

Holy shit. I don't think i've ever saw The Mirror referred to as a "leftist rag" in my life. Or a "leftist" anything. In fact, i can't imagine how anyone anywhere would refer to the mirror as anything approaching "leftist."
You learn something new every day, it turns out.
Hmm. I might coin that phrase. Sounds like a keeper.
