Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos has been telling MTV about a run in with one of Eminem's security guards backstage at Top of the Pops. The band were at the BBC to record a performance of new single 'Matinee'. Having finished their set, Kapranos explains: "I walked past a chink in the curtain and Eminem was doing his rehearsal. This bouncer went: 'Hey you, keep walking', or something like that. Because of the attitude he had I said: 'Say's who?' And this 28-stone guy is like: 'Says me'. Then it was such a like comedy moment. He came lumbering toward me like those old kind of wrestlers and we kind of collided and I thought I was going to go flying, but I just ended up being enveloped by all this flab. And then we just parted gently. Next thing, everybody round me just went nuts and I think Glen knocked his hat off and Nick punched him in the face and then all these like security guys came and pulled him away. It was like school or something."

wow, that's a pretty funny story. i'm not taking sides or anything but i don't think that eminem is at all to blame for this. he didn't even say anything. but hey, i like Franz Ferdinand and i like eminem, so i--i--i don't have any clue what i'm talking about anymore. i just got out of surgery, those damn narotics are killin me.

Ah Eminem, not the most well tempered individual. Remember he totally snapped at a hand puppet at the VMAs a couple of years ago. Then when he saw his x wife kissing someone else he pulled a gun on the guy. I guess he is still attached to Kim, even though his belly reads 'KIM - R.I.P.'
