This from CMU:

Having joined forced with former bandmate Axl Rose earlier this year to try (unsuccessfully) to block the release of the Guns 'n' Roses best of album, Slash and Duff McKagan are now suing Axl himself - or at least so says Celebrity Justice magazine.

According to the reports Slash and McKagan are responded to allegations Axl Rose turned down requests to include Guns 'n' Roses tracks in various movies despite the fact he does not have a controlling stake in that music - Slash and McKagan who have equal stakes were not consulted over whether or not to enter into lucrative licencing deals.

Roses' people are yet to comment on the reported legal action.

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.

Am I not the only one who wishes Guns N' Roses would either just get back together and finally release their next record or just go away?

They've clearly worn out their welcome in the jungle.

Wow, there is so much to this. I mean, in their day their is no greater band in the history of rock... however Axl has ruined all that. Axl must die, for G&R to survive. I know it's not right to wish anyone's death... but this band would fare SO much better if Axl had one of those tragic 'dead at 27' things that all the others did.

What is most mystifying about Axl is that he is STILL a dick. He still fires people randomly, still cancels entire tours regularly, and still tells us that after 10 years there is a new G&R album coming out. Death to Axl, my favorite rock star of them all. What a shame. I guess we know what Jim Morrison, Ronnie Van Zandt, and Bradley Nowell might have ended up like.

Sadly, I can only say this... Death to Axl!

Sounds like they have moved on with Velvet Revolver, which is a great band. Musically, Axl is dead. Even if he came out with the greatest music ever, no one would give a shit anymore.
