CMU reports:

Billy Joel has been involved in his third car accident in two years - though the good news is no one was seriously injured. In the latest incident Joel's car skid off a wet road in Long Island, New York on Sunday and hit a house. Police confirmed Joel had been involved in the crash, that he suffered only a small cut, and that the incident was being treated as a simple accident (ie no drink, drugs or recklessness were involved). Joel had a similar lucky escape when his car hit a tree on Long Island last year, and again escaped serious injury in a crash in East Hampton in Jun 2002.

Thomas Phillips Jr, who witnessed Joel's latest crash, told reporters the singer: "seemed embarrassed that he lost control of the car - he said: 'I can't believe I got in another accident'"
