As a result of being under strict orders we managed a rather good rehersal on Wednesday night. We had so much fun we broke into an umpah version of our first single. John hit one bum note and Tom & I were off singing it like it was part of Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines (and dancing around the room). We have finallised the lyrics to the song and learned our parts. One does have to admit that sitting round a Steinway in a high ceilinged room, with a nice big glass of wine, does rather make one want to sing well.
