I had planned an indepth review of this movie but it was so trite and boring, I dozed off after the first 20 minutes. Roseanne comes off as snide and unsophisticated as ever, even as she is painted as the superior cow who's seen the world and knows what to do. Judy Dench's "upper-class" cow is petty and narrow-minded. the four baby chicks were cute but had no lines and weren't on often enough to keep me awake. When I awoke at the end, to no one's surprise, all had learned the appropriate life lessons. It's a shame that the last hand-dran animation feature was wrapped around a one-dimensional story.
