How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practise! Most people have a radio in their car.

Ontario Provincial Police said officers stopped a 54-year-old man heading south on Highway 400 on Saturday afternoon as he played a violin while at the wheel of his 1992 Volkswagen Jetta.

The man said he was warming up for a concert. Police charged him with careless driving.

wow! that's an original one. in 20-or-so years of commuting on a particular highway each morning i've seen: makeup being applied, various stuff being read (newspapers, books, etc), ties being tied, shaving, eating...

never seen anyboy playing the violin tho...

True story:

I was traveling one time with a lady who managed to prop her legal pad up on the steering wheel, write on it and steer at the same time, while talking on the cell phone.

All is going well if not frightening, when the car ahead came to a sudden stop. Did she waver? Not for a second. She slammed the pedal to the metal so fast we were temporarily airborne, but she did't stop doing her bizznezz for a minute.
