The NBA

The playoff teams are set. Let's see who made the cut:

EAST

Indiana - 1

NJ - 2

Detroit - 3

The Rest: iffy Milwaukee, surprising Miami, imploding New Orleans, certain under .500 NY, and pathetic Boston.

WEST

A messy collection of winning teams that includes Minnesota, San Antonio, the LA Lakers, Sacramento, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, and Denver.

NBA finals prediction: Detroit vs. the Lakers. But, Indiana has home-court throughout. And San Antonio has looked unbeatable in recent weeks. Indy vs. SA ain't unthinkable.

I agree that the Celtics are pathetic. They should never have even made the playoffs. And I speak as a Boston fan.
