He died in a hospital in Santa Monica, California on April 1, of liver and kidney disease.
Born in England, he'd lived in Los Angeles for the past 20 years.
After his career and string of hits with the Zombies, including "She's Not There," "Tell Her No," and "Time of the Season," he became an artists and repertoire executive.
Among the performers he discovered and signed were ABBA, Bruce Hornsby, Mr. Mister, Judas Priest, and Michael Penn.
