The new Calexico is excellent, and includes their cover of Love's Alone Again (Or), which has been a staple of their live shows. This is an appropriate and illuminating song choice considering Calexico's mariachi rock. Anyone who's missed this intelligent, unique band has missed sumthin'.
There is always rejoicing when there's a new Sexsmith album, and this one continues some of the mild electronic experiments of the last two, to nice effect. Any thoughts on this guy? Al, your McManus-loving soul must have some take on him.

Excellent, thanks. This will be very helpful on several levels.
