<description>&lt;i&gt;That&#039;s cheaper than if I bought it at a store in town (which I couldn&#039;t because the chance of them having this particular model in this particular color borders on 0), &#039;cause Virginia&#039;s sales tax is 6%.&lt;/i&gt;

Actually, it may be that you&#039;re supposed to pay a 4.5% &quot;consumer&#039;s use tax&quot; on your Virginia state income tax return for any goods purchased over the internet.  I just saw this on my online tax return and I&#039;ve been asking around - nobody I&#039;ve talked to knows anything about this.  I don&#039;t know how strictly they would enforce this.  It could turn out to be a not inconsiderable sum for me, as I&#039;ve bought thousands of dollars worth of CD&#039;s and books over the internet in the past year; so let&#039;s hope I&#039;m wrong about this.
