Jackson loses his write-off

You might not think more insult could be thrown onto the injury, but US tax
authorities have confirmed they are taking away tax exemptions from Michael
Jackson over his Neverland Ranch. The decision follows investigations last year by tax authorities as to whether Jacko was really due certain farming tax breaks on the property given that the ranch really wasn't farming land any more. It remains to be seen if the tax man now applies that ruling retrospectively - if so it could leave Jacko with a very large tax bill and presumably another legal battle on his hands.
