The Suffering: I know I'm not

Generally, I hate plunking down my cash for video games. Too many times have I bought a video game and it has just sucked. A total waste of $50. More often than not I will rent one. By doing this I save a few beans and if I don't like it I don't own it.

Well I actually bought one game recently and have been playing it ever since. The game is The Suffering for XBOX. While it's not the most advanced game out there, it sure is one of the most fun.

You play as Torque, a man sentenced to death for slaughtering his family. Once Torque arrives at prison, things start to get weird and basically all hell breaks loose. Torque must fight his way out of prison all along the way finding clues about what has happened in the past at the prison, and also what really may have happened to his family.

This game is everything Resident Evil could be. Plenty of scares abound. Plenty of ammo to blast all the baddies and the ability to morph into your own monster adds a really nice touch. With creatures designed by Stan Winston Studios (Alien, Predator) how can you go wrong?

So what are you waiting for? Go get this game. Just don't hurt anyone trying to get it. And if you are a parent, be forewarned, there is some really harsh language in this game. I mean really. I was shocked. Ok I wasn't, but it's still bad like Chris Rock HBO special bad.

Good review, thanks and welcome Gary! I know you did the Boysetsfire but I'm slow.
