Time Wasting Websites

And now, a webcomic. yes, good ones do exist. I feel obliged to ponit out Penny Arcade, although if you're not a videogame fan you probably won't appreciate it as much as I do. Penny Arcade follows, for the most part, two friends who are avid gamers. It also, rather handily, has an archive of every comic since it began. A webcomic with a little more wide an appeal is PVP Online, following the antics of several different characters who "work" in an office. It still has references to games but less so than Penny Arcade.
Both of the above webcomics I find generally to be very funny, often laugh-out-loud funny, but of course your sense of humour may well be different to mine.
Time for another interactive site - this one is the Advertising Slogan Generator. Type a word (or phrase) in the box, hit return (or click the button) and wait...this can provide a good 10/15 minutes' entertainment, especially trying your own name, your housemates' names, your friends' names, your enemies' names, your pets' names, and so on. Oh, and just watching to see what words other users are trying.
One of the best sites for funny short videos is The Lair of the Crab of Ineffable Wisdom. You might have seen some of this guy's stuff on TV. There's singing cats, spongemonkeys, other monkeys, a hippo, a sumo florist, plus animations and even some games. Warning! if you are easily offended, it's best you don't visit the site. A few of the vids feature...colourful language.
Finally, we have the great Weebls Stuff. 3 (yes, 3!) pages of toons, including the badgers, the lord, and of course Scampi, some games, and not forgetting the hilarious Weebl And Bob (a separate site but linked here). there's enough stuff to last you a good half hour at least, and probably more.
well, there you have it - a nice little collection of time-wasting sites to get you started. There's hundreds more out there, but right now I should really try and do some work...

Rambleweb.com Takes you on a random tour of the web. Great for wasting time...maybe they should use the advertising jargon generator for a better tag line

I loved the Advertising Slogan Generator.
For my first and last name it gave me: "The Loudest Noise Comes From The Electric John Mudd."
And for my first name it gave me: "The future's bright. The future's John."
Very cute. Very cute, indeed.
