Time Wasting Sites
It's getting round to that time of year again - revision time! In an attempt to put off doing any work until as late as possible, I've decided to do a run-down of the sites I use from time to time when I can't be bothered to use much effort to waste my time.
Without furter ado, I present my list of Time-Wasting Websites Extraordinnaire!
(not in any particular order)
Firstly, we have Yetisports. Chances are, you've already played at least one of their little Flash games (or maybe Pingu Xtreme). There are currently just 3 "official" Yetisports games: Pingu Throw is the normal version of Pingu Xtreme, and involves you controlling the timing of the yeti, who has to hit a pingu as far as he can, when the pingu jumps off a cliff. Orca Slap has you controlling the yeti again, this time the pingus jump onto an orca (a whale) and you have to hit them in midair with a snowball that knocks them into a target. The third and final game is Seal Bounce, in which the yeti has to throw a pingu as high as he can. The pingu boucnes off the walls and can get a boost if it hits one of the many seals on either side of the screen.
These are fun little games, but they're not meant for keeping you occupied for long. PinguXtreme
Next up is Amanita Design. You might be wondering what this has to do with games - in which case you obviously haven't heard of Samorost. navigate using the little mushroom-type-thing at the bottom right (you will be needing a Flash player for this site btw), go to Web->Flash Games. The tour de force, the main event, is Samorost, but by all means check out the other two. You can't exactly play through Samorost much more than once or twice, but hopefully you'll appreciate the amazing little world, and ll it's quirky inhabitants.
For a quick minute's play or so, there's Dolphin Dash (WARNING! if you suffer from epilepsy DO NOT play this game! you have been warned). I haven't found anything quite the same for sheer random craziness.

Rambleweb.com Takes you on a random tour of the web. Great for wasting time...maybe they should use the advertising jargon generator for a better tag line

I loved the Advertising Slogan Generator.
For my first and last name it gave me: "The Loudest Noise Comes From The Electric John Mudd."
And for my first name it gave me: "The future's bright. The future's John."
Very cute. Very cute, indeed.
