Al Qaeda Endorses Bush
Published March 17, 2004
The statement said it supported President Bush in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry, as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."
In comments addressed to Bush, the group said:
"Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization."

This is troublesome to me...
If the terrorists had endorsed Kerry, the Bush people would surely have used it in their campaign. Since they have endorsed Kerry instead, the media is silent due to the theory that reverse-psychology is in play.
Look, the terrorists want a "peace" candidate to win. They were successful in Spain. They want Blair and Howard and Bush to fall. Their comments "endorsing" Bush are to be taken as dark humor, at best.
Still...
I wonder if the media is truly still liberal. If they were, would they not play up this "endorsement" and make sure all Americans knew where the terrorists stood in November?
Terror stands to gain a victory in November should Bush fall. We all know this. But to dismiss this "endorsement" is to engage in politics, something the major new organizations claim they want to avoid.
This endorsement should be widely publisized. Let the people decide.

I mean, they endorsed Bush instead. Sorry for the confusion.

Um, actually, some of us know that terror stands to gain a victory in November should Bush win, as no other president would fight terror so ineptly.
I think that though al Qaeda may have taken some major blows during the Bush administration, they have probably grown stronger, rather than weaker. Now, they are quite possibly the most infamous terrorist organization in the world. The Administration's actions throughout the world give them more propaganda for their recruitment campaigns than anything they could have come up with for themselves.
The right endorsement for al Qaeda is the current Administration. Our actions increase the hatred against us and key people are ready to exploit that hate. In "Against All Enemies", Dick Clark claims the ultimate goal of al Qaeda is nothing short of the re-establishment of the Caliphate - one that supports a radical militant branch of Islam.
I'm freaking worried.

Mike,
I've got a bridge to sell ya, dirt cheap, only used on Sundays.....
