According to VELVET REVOLVER site www.Velvet-Revolver.org, RCA Records have revealed that the release date for VR's debut album, Contraband, has been bumped to June 8th in North America. The album was originally scheduled for release on May 18th. In other recent VR news, as previously reported, the band were all set to shoot their first video, 'Slither', recently in Los Angeles with Kevin Kerslake slated to direct. But during Scott Weiland's probation progress report hearing on March 5th, a Pasadena judge denied the singer's request to join his bandmates for the shoot, which has since been postponed. Weiland is due back in court March 23rd for another progress report. He's also due back in court March 15th to face charges of driving under the influence of drugs.
