The only half-decent bands I could think of that had a city in its name were the New York/Dresden Dolls, hence the exception. The list of inductees is peppered with mediocre acts including the Rascals, The Lovin Spoonful, Jefferson Airplane, The Shirelles (you've got to be kidding), Del Shannon, Dusty Springfield and the Mamas and Papas. Jackson Browne??? Hall of Fame??
