Don't let the Girl Scouts fall the way of the Boy Scouts!
Published March 04, 2004
I think Girl Scouts is a wonderful organization and I support them 100%. Nice to know that unlike that Boy Scouts, they are not discriminatory. I think that the parents acting like this is ruining the scouting experience for the little girls. I was once a girl scout. Yes. Really.
The Girl Scouts were never about politics or religion, or discrimination. I don't want to see them go the way of the homophobic Boy Scouts.
As I said, if I can get the info, I'll post it and YOU CAN GET COOKIES TOO IN SUPPORT.
Oh... and Tek is back!

I often see the Girl Scouts selling cookies in front my local grocery store; you might look there on the weekends.
Yes, we were similarly accosted at the local grocery store recently - we had to pay the little gangsters and their mothers to leave us alone.
Thin mints. Freezer.
This year I ordered a shameful 10 boxes. They arrived Monday and I now have just 4.
And to satisfy the vegetarians, I'm told that as of this year there are no actual Girl Scouts in any of the cookies, except maybe trace amounts in those Do-Si-Dos.

dang, those 'lemon coolers' are really good.
i had to temporarily lift my no-hydrogenated-oils ban.
